The Greatest Thing You'll Ever Learn

I won't finish the quote from the title because I'm going to assume all of you know it. If you don't, have at the Google. I'm sure it'll autocomplete it for you by the time you get to "thing." Google knows you just that well (and with Google+, will soon know you a whole lot better). I just wanted to take a minute to discuss the idea of love again. It's been a while since I've let it come up on my blog and that's mainly because for most of the time, I don't feel qualified to speak about it. I'm pretty bad at it, when it comes right down to it.

I do know that nothing in my life is more important than love. I can feel its absence on days without any interaction with anyone else. That's not to say that people don't love me then, just that I don't get to experience it. Thankfully, those days are the exception rather than the rule.

I'm just impressed with how easy something so important is to forget. There's a thousand other things to get caught up in, none of them carrying nearly as much weight, but somehow we still get lost.

So this short post, friends, is to remind you to love. Take a minute, right now, and do or say or see or feel or touch something truly beautiful. You owe it to yourself. And everyone else too.

This post is dedicated to the wonderful Chris Green and Janelle Hamrick who're tying the knot today. They've found their something beautiful.
